The Einhell GE-CM 36/34-1 Li is sold with no battery and no charger. It runs on two Power X-Change 18 V packs together for 36 V, and it is rated for lawns up to 200 m². This makes it a mower for existing Einhell owners: if two 18 V batteries already sit in your garage for drills or trimmers, this is a low-commitment way to add a compact mower to the same system.

Our take
Power from two packs
Putting two 18 V batteries in series gives the motor more voltage than a single pack mower such as the Einhell GE-CM 18/33. Einhell describes the drive as powerful and long-lasting. Amazon lists the battery average life as 45 minutes, though that figure will depend on which capacity packs you fit. Nothing in the listing says which batteries were used to reach the 200 m² rating.
Deck and settings
The cutting width is 33.5 cm with five central height positions from 25 mm to 65 mm. That range covers most small domestic lawns, though it stops short of the 75 mm or 80 mm tops on some Greenworks models. The grass box holds 30 L, according to the highlight field. The housing is impact-resistant plastic.
Carrying and storing
An integrated carry handle on the body is the practical feature here. Amazon lists the weight at 11.9 kg, and the carry handle makes it easier to lift that weight over a step, into a car or onto a shelf. The long handle adjusts in height, has an ergonomic grip area and folds down so the mower stows in very little space. Folded dimensions are given as roughly 75.5 cm by 38 cm by 45 cm. Assembly is required.
Einhell lists a two year manufacturer warranty and spare part availability for two years in the EU.
Who it does not suit
If you own no Einhell batteries, this is an incomplete purchase: you need two packs and a charger before the first cut. In that case the Einhell GE-CM 18/33 kit with three 4 Ah batteries, or the Greenworks 24V 33 cm with battery and charger, is far simpler. Lawns bigger than 200 m² are also outside its stated range, and a wider mower such as the Yard Force 40V 37 cm will cut them faster.
Verdict
Buy the GE-CM 36/34 only if you already hold two Power X-Change batteries and a charger and have a small lawn. Newcomers should choose the Einhell GE-CM 18/33 kit or the Greenworks 24V 33 cm, which both arrive ready to mow, and anyone with a larger plot should look at the Yard Force 40V 37 cm.
