Small gardens
Terraced plots and narrow side lawns need a compact mower that turns easily and fits in a small shed or under the stairs.
For lawns up to about 150 m², a cordless mower with a 32 to 37 cm deck and a folding handle is usually enough. Small robot mowers rated for 300 to 600 m² fit tight gardens too.
Check the storage size with the handle folded and whether the grass box stacks on top. A lighter mower is easier to carry through the house if there is no side gate.
