This Greenworks set is less a strimmer and more a garden maintenance kit. Alongside a 30 cm grass trimmer, you get a pole tool that switches between a long reach hedge trimmer and a pole saw, all powered by one 40 V 2 Ah battery with a charger. It suits a garden with a tall hedge or overhanging branches as well as lawn edges.

Our take
The grass trimmer
The trimmer cuts a 30 cm path with automatic line feed using 1.65 mm line, so you do not have to pull line out by hand. The shaft is two-piece aluminium with a steel connection for stability, and the handle adjusts so you can reach awkward corners comfortably. The listing quotes 7,500 rpm.
There is no mention of an edger wheel, so for crisp lawn edges the Greenworks 40V 33 cm model is more specialised.
Hedge trimmer and pole saw
The second tool is a 2-in-1 pole unit. The hedge trimmer has a 51 cm bar that cuts branches up to 18 mm thick, and a seven position articulating head lets you angle the blade along the top of a tall hedge. Switching to the pole saw head needs no tools, according to the listing. That combination covers hedge tops and small branch work without a ladder.
One battery, three jobs
All of this runs from a single 2 Ah battery, which is the weak point. A 2 Ah pack will not cover a long session of trimming plus hedge cutting, so expect to recharge between jobs or buy a second 40V battery. The 40V pack does fit the wider Greenworks range.
Amazon's specs list the power source as corded electric, which conflicts with the title and bullets. Treat that as a listing error, but confirm with the seller. Weight is listed at 4.3 kg and assembly is required.
Compared with the combos
The Greenworks 60V trimmer and blower combo swaps the pole tools for a leaf blower on a bigger battery. The Ryobi OBC1820B is the better choice for rough undergrowth thanks to its steel blade. This 40V set is the one for hedges.
Verdict
Choose this set if you have a hedge or high branches to manage as well as grass edges and want one battery system for all three. If clearing paths matters more, the Greenworks 60V trimmer and blower combo fits better, and for heavy weeds the Ryobi OBC1820B is the tougher tool.
