The Bosch VisiMow 18V-100 is a very small wire-free robot for lawns up to 100 m². It needs no boundary wire and no infrastructure at all, relying on Bosch's Smartvision camera system. It also runs on a standard 18 V Power for All battery, which is not included. It suits a small front lawn, a few separate patches, or a buyer who already owns 18 V garden tools.

In its favour
- No boundary wire or base to install, according to Bosch.
- Handles multiple small lawns and zones up to 100 m² in total.
- Cutting height adjusts from 20 to 60 mm.
Good to know
- Battery not included, so budget for one if you do not own the platform.
- Too small for a lawn much over 100 m², as that is its rated maximum.
Our take
Smartvision and setup
Most robot mowers need a wire, an antenna or a base station. Bosch says Smartvision removes all of that, so the setup is three button presses and the mower goes from storage to mowing within seconds. That makes it practical for someone who wants to carry it to the lawn when needed rather than leave a charging dock installed outdoors.
Battery platform
The VisiMow uses an 18 V battery from the Power for All Alliance, which Bosch describes as one battery for more than 10 brands and over 150 products. If you already own a pack for a Bosch drill or trimmer, you can share it. If not, budget for a battery and charger, since neither comes in the box.
Cutting and limits
Cutting width is 16 cm and height adjusts from 20 mm to 60 mm. The mower can maintain multiple lawns and zones, up to 100 m² in total. Amazon lists the weight at 8.15 kg. The listing gives no slope limit, noise level or app detail, and 100 m² is the smallest rating among the robots here, so it is not a main mower for a typical back garden.
Compared with other small robots
The Gardena Sileno minimo 250 covers more than twice the area with a boundary wire and a stated 57 dB(A). The Ecovacs Goat O1000 LiDAR Pro is also wire-free and slips through narrow 0.8 m corridors, but it is a much bigger machine rated for about 1,000 m². The VisiMow's niche is tiny lawns and owners of 18 V tools. Because there is no dock to leave outdoors, it also suits rented homes where you cannot install anything permanent in the garden.
Verdict
Pick the VisiMow 18V-100 if your lawn is under 100 m² and you already own a Power for All battery, or want zero installation. For a larger small garden, the Gardena Sileno minimo 250 covers more ground, and for a complicated shaded plot the Ecovacs Goat O1000 LiDAR Pro has the reach.
