Rear rollers are usually found on larger, heavier mowers, so a 37 cm cordless model with one stands out. The Yard Force GR40 mower is aimed at small to medium lawns where the owner wants a striped finish without a big machine. Two 40 V 2.5 Ah batteries and a quick charger come in the box, and the motor is brushless.

Our take
Stripes and the roller
Yard Force says the rear roller creates classic stripes, the look many British gardeners associate with a well kept lawn. Stripes come from bending the grass in alternate directions, and a roller does this more evenly than rear wheels. A roller also lets you cut right up to a lawn edge where wheels would drop off, though the listing does not make that claim specifically.
Battery and runtime
The mower runs on one battery at a time, so the second pack is a spare rather than a source of extra voltage. Amazon gives a battery average life of 40 minutes. There is no lawn area per charge in the listing, a gap which makes it hard to compare directly with the Greenworks 24V 33 cm and its 260 m² rating.
The batteries are part of the Yard Force GR40 range and can be shared across the brand's 40V garden tools.
Cutting height and collection
Seven positions from 25 mm to 75 mm are set centrally with one lever, which gives a useful spread from a short spring cut to a longer lawn in a dry spell. Fit the mulching plug and the clippings are chopped and returned to the lawn instead of filling the 40 L hybrid grass box. Forty litres is generous for a 37 cm deck and means fewer emptying stops on a lawn of moderate size.
What the listing does not cover
There is no weight, no information on folding handles and no warranty statement. For a buyer with a narrow shed, those omissions matter. The Husqvarna Aspire LC34 documents its storage design clearly, and the Greenworks 24V 33 cm lists both its weight and its warranty.
Verdict
Choose the Yard Force 40V 37 cm if stripes matter on a small or medium lawn and you like having a spare battery charged and ready. If you need a mower you can lift easily, the Greenworks 24V 33 cm is the lighter choice, and the Husqvarna Aspire LC34 is better for very tight storage.
