Our take
What you get
The box holds the mower, the trimmer, an RB18L50 5 Ah Lithium+ battery and a charger. Ryobi says the charger fills that battery in one hour and has a maintenance function that trickle charges for longer battery life. The battery has a four stage gauge and impact-protected housing.
Note that there is only one battery for two tools. In practice that works if you mow first and trim afterwards, perhaps with a short charge in between on a larger garden.
The mower side
The 33 cm cutting path keeps the mower small and nimble. Five heights run from 25 mm to 65 mm, and the handle is telescopic with three positions. EasyEdge combs are designed to let it mow up to the perimeter, reducing the amount of edging left for the trimmer.
The trimmer side
The listing names the OLT1832 trimmer but gives no cutting swath, line diameter or feed type. That is a real gap: you cannot compare its reach against the 25 cm trimmer in the other Ryobi kit or the 30 cm Greenworks strimmer from these details alone. Check the trimmer's own product page before buying if swath matters to you.
Comparing kits
The Ryobi ONE+ mower and 25 cm trimmer kit uses a 4 Ah battery and states the trimmer width. The Greenworks 48V 36 cm mower and trimmer kit has a slightly wider deck and runs on two 24 V batteries. If you already own ONE+ tools, this set's charger may be a duplicate, and the mower-only OLM1833B bundle could be the better buy.
