Our take
Quiet running
At 57 dB(A), the Sileno City is quiet enough to work while you sit on the patio, and it is less likely to bother neighbours over a shared fence. For a robot that may run most days through the growing season, that low noise counts for more than it would on a mower you use once a week.
Navigation, slopes and safety
The boundary wire sets the mowing area, and collision sensors stop it when it bumps into something, protecting both the mower and your garden furniture. Gardena says it handles narrow spaces and tight corners and cuts lawns of any shape inside the wire, from simple to complex. The 35% gradient rating, about 19 degrees, is generous for such a small robot. It keeps mowing in rain or shine.
Setup and control
Installation is DIY. Gardena supplies installation videos and instructions, and the box includes everything needed, wire included. Control is through a Bluetooth app, which means you must be within Bluetooth range of the mower to change settings. There is no way to check on it from work.
Amazon lists the weight at 8.16 kg and the size as about 55 by 38 cm. Cutting width is about 16 cm. This listing is the US version, model 15001-41, so check that the charging station plug suits UK sockets.

Verdict
Buy the Sileno City for a small, sloping or fiddly lawn near the house where quiet running matters. If you want the UK plug version and your lawn is flat, the Gardena Sileno minimo 250 is the simpler buy, and if remote control from anywhere matters, the Worx Landroid WR130E has a Wi-Fi app.
